The summer development Program is intended for serious ball players, seeking personal development to aquire the skills needed for better performance and matrics needed to continue playing at higher levels of todays game

Pitching

  • Pitch Design

Improving the depth and deception of off speed pitches, creating tunneling at the highest efficiency possible. Using Rapsodo to get base numbers which we plug into the Driveline Edge system to visualize tunneling and how we can tweak the off speed pitches to create better deception and late break.

 

  • Competitive Bullpens

Competitive bullpens are designed to create the feeling of an in game atmosphere. In this situation, we are able to simulate the in game mindset and focus that comes with the rush of pitching in live situations. Pitchers are also given the ability to learn pitch selection in situational counts.

 

  • Biomechanics

Biomechanics are focused on the kinematic sequence working from the ground up. Ground force energy, glute engagement, hip shoulder separation, and lead leg firm are the main ideas involved when talking about kinetic sequencing. The timing of the arm relies on the rest of the body working in sequential order.

Hitting

  • Swing Shape

Molding an ideal swing for a player based on each player’s individual data. We do not believe that one swing fits all and that each player needs to adjust for what works best for them. Our goal is to show each player their optimal swing based on the data collected, player’s athleticism, and current level of play.

 

  • Live Competition

Live competition promotes a competitive environment where our hitters are challenged with facing pitchers indoors in a game-like setting. We use Rapsodo, Blast Motion, and K-Vest to measure the player’s swing to get a more accurate representation of a player’s game swing.

Strength

  • Strength Development

Baseline strength gains will be seen throughout the summer program while being able to recover on a daily basis. Baseline strength will be improved by focusing on baseball specific lifts and stability throughout the lower half.

 

  • Power Development

Strength gained will be transferred into power through all planes of the body by using complex training techniques that include overload and underload lifting, velocity based training tactics with equipment such as Vertimax platforms, and Vertimax Raptors.

  • High energy training environment
  • Programs designed for pitchers and position players
  • Arm action and path efficiency
  • Create a fast motor and energy connection
  • Proper blend patterns to carry over velocity gains to the mound
Build

A complete Athlete

Our training programs give players the opportunity to focus on personal development with a long term or intermediate focus. With most athletes chasing the dream of being a collegiate or professional player, its essential every athlete finds the appropriate time and resources for adequate skill and prospect tool development.
